One thing that seems to have happened when coach Mike Malone was fired, was that the Kings players began giving up on their system. DeMarcus Cousins was having a pretty solid defensive year and since all the turmoil, you can see Boogie slacking on that end.
Gorgui Dieng had 15 points and 10 rebounds against Cousins. Although the same height, Dieng gives up almost 40 pounds to Cousins, but was taking it to him all night. Dieng went 7 for 10 shooting and Cousins got continually frustrated in the game and eventually fouled out in the final minutes.
The Kings did pull it out to win 110-107. Andrew Wiggins went off for 27 points and Shabazz Muhammad got in for 15 points while Darren Collison and Rudy Gay grabbed 21 points a piece.
